Photography is incredibly impactful not only for those who take pictures, but also for those who view them. It changes our perception of the world. It changes who we are. It allows us to explore different sides of ourselves. It challenges us. It motivates us. It defines us.

I asked the inspirational people who follow my Facebook page to finish the sentence “Photography is important to me because…” and the results were breathtaking. Photography means so much to so many people, not just in a creative and artistic way, but in all aspects of life.
